TERRES DES INCAS rejects the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (SECA)

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) – Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (SECA) in the tourism sector in Peru.

This form of violence seriously violates the rights of children and adolescents and, unfortunately, is often tolerated or overlooked in society.

At TERRES DES INCAS we adhere to the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents against SECA.

Terres des Incas

Legal Basis

There are various laws that criminally sanction these offenses, which we seek to rigorously comply with:

  • Law No. 29403 – General Tourism Law, and its regulations approved by Supreme Decree No. 003-2010-MINCETUR.
  • Law No. 30963, which amends the Penal Code to impose harsher penalties for sexual exploitation crimes, especially when they affect minors and women.
  • Law No. 30802, which establishes measures for the safe admission of children and adolescents to lodging establishments, protecting their integrity.

Your report can make a difference.

If you are aware of any case of sexual exploitation involving persons under 18 years of age, your action can save lives and protect those who need it most.

In our agency we do not allow or promote any act of sexual exploitation or other related crimes. We act in strict compliance with Law No. 29408, promoting safe, responsible, and respectful tourism.

Sincerely,

TERRES DES INCAS
