Embark on a seamless, full-day express journey from Cusco to the legendary Machu Picchu. The experience begins with a private transfer from your hotel to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board a scenic tourist train for the 1-hour and 45-minute trip to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, your guide meets and assists you with the short bus transfer that ascends the mountain via a zigzag path, bringing you directly to the entrance of the awe-inspiring sanctuary, also known as the Lost City of the Incas.
Upon entering Machu Picchu (using Circuit 3), you will begin an essential 2-hour guided tour. Your expert will lead you through the most significant structures, including the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Pachamama, the agricultural terraces, the Inca's House, and the Temple of the Condor, providing profound historical and spiritual context. After the formal tour, you will have free time to explore and capture photographs. The unforgettable day concludes with a final train journey back to Ollantaytambo, where a private transfer awaits to bring you directly back to your hotel in Cusco.
Itinerary Machu Picchu Full Day Tour: The Express Train Experience
Pick-up from your hotel (Cusco)
Our team will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco approximately 2 hours before your train departure. We will transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station to begin your journey.
Train to Aguas Calientes
Board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes (2,000 m), a scenic journey of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, where our guide will meet you upon arrival.
Bus to Machu Picchu
From Aguas Calientes, we will take a bus that climbs 400 meters via a zigzag path, arriving at the awe-inspiring sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as the Lost City of the Incas.

Upon entering Machu Picchu, we will present your tickets and begin a 2-hour guided tour covering:
